HelpMePickABobber
Right now I have $286 in a setup that throws 3-8 oz. a daiwa lexa 300 (brand new for $136 on eBay) and Denali swimbait rod ($150). Is it a top of the line setup? Absolutely not. But I feel like I couldn't have done better for $286.
Tuco
I rod, on the reel it depends on what you're doing. for slow crawl heavy I would step up from the cardiff to a calcutta , for glides you want to to get the speed up a bit, there a lot of cheaper options . My best advice is to not buy stuff because its cheap, wait, save and buy the good stuff, you won't be sorry.
