Jack
I Just picked up an OG 250 SS in Biawa from a guy on here. On the first cast it was a dead stick all the way back on a steady slow retrieve. I sped up the retrieve on the second cast and it turned slightly once or twice. On the third cast I snapped the reel handle and it turned, snapped it again and it turned. As soon as I started a steady retrieve it would hardly turn at all. As long as I turned the reel handle then paused it would turn fine but, on a steady retrieve it won't do much. It sinks slightly nose down. Not sure that it matters to the swim though. I have an OG 175 "conversion" that does the same thing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Guys.

Jack
I have been working on the 175 non stop. I really don't know much about tuning them.
Jack
I've watched the video on tuning but, have heard that the screws in the hinge need to be checked too. Just not sure where to begin.
bishopbass
If you have feathered hooks on bait swap them out for regular trebles and see if glide opens up. Also if you are using heavy mono try 20 or 25# fluorocarbon. Good luck! jcolo4sho
xxlbass
there are a few of these out there...could be a foam issue or joint.
Volfan
Check the screw eyes at the joint. Make sure they line up perfectly, and that the skin hasn't slid into and covering the joint.
Jack
Thanks guys, I will swap the hooks and check the screw eyes. Should the screw eyes rub the slot for the hinge? This one does a bit.
