morris1
Just wondering what the true weight rating on a dobyns 867 is. I need a rod that can throw 5oz baits but also be able to handle a hinkle trout. Will the 867 suffice for that wide of a range? I feel like the 908 will for sure handle the hinkle but idk about throwing 8 inch slow sink glides on it.
Bay Arean
908 for hinkle trout. Hinkle will over power the
morris1
Ok, but what about using the 908 for 8†slow sink glides?
Wes Peart
908 is fine for lighter stuff, it's not the pool cue you might think it'd be looking at the rating. Bay Arean
Bay Arean
I’ve thrown 13 oz baits on the 908 and it handles it well.
morris1
Ok, I reckon ille just go with the 908 then.
