Frankjohns
I have a negotiator with s bent tail i left it in the box next to the heater( rookie mistake) i was wondering if anyone had any tricks to fixing it or if there’s spare rails that i could use. I would boil it but Iï¸ don’t blow if that works on this style tails. Any and all ideas appreciated thanks

kdatwe
as far as fixing it, boiling is your best best IMO; I would take it out of the lure if you can.
BamaChild
Never had something like that happen bc I don't have a bait like that. I would imagine like kdat said would be boiling. Maybe hairdryer/heatgun would work too.
thedonnguyen
hang bait vertically, heat tail with a blow dryer and then let cool HelpMePickABobber, DuranSD and El_Weruso
El_Weruso
I boiled my negs tail and it made it worse. The plastic is made from something different and boiling it didn't help, or maybe i just boiled it too long.
zanwhite
Put it on a paper towel and find a small paperback book that's the same height as 1/2 the thickness of the tail section . Line the book up so that the tail is on the book but the rest of bait is on the paper towel. Now lay a heavier book on top of the other side of the tail and let it sit there for a few days. Not too much weight on the top book or it will flatten the texture on the tail. This worked for me with my islide tail, heating it up a bit before doing the books could make it go faster
swimbape
I have just slowly curved/bent them the other direction and it has worked out for me just fine
