jthod
Best suggestion I can make is fish with the wind in your face. Windier the better. Points, steep breaks at the shore, or coves where they will push shad into. This time of year typically gets really good when the YOY shad are in huge schools, and the whites and wipers chase them around. Sunset is usually the best time to target them. Poppers, spooks, spoons, bucktail jigs, buzzbaits, bullshad, wakebaits...etc...they will bite about anything that vaguely resembles a shad. Fishing_Timny
Nice Fish man. I'm a striper guy and I'm dying to fish for some wipers. Looks like you got a NICE 1. jthod
jthod
I've never been able to try any striper waters, hoping to make a trip this fall for them though.
