Onthefly_25
I'm looking for suggestions to a Wake n' Crank bait with a bluegill body type. The Slammer has worked decently but I want to match the profile as well as color. Thanks Ya'll

WadeForIt_NH
Has anyone checked out the Crossman Hippo? It has a larger profile than the shell cracker and is designed for Wake n'Crank. It looks promising, just looking for some input on the subject. Thanks! chevro1et and GoblinSlayer

You can adjust the sink rate which is nice.

Both of the Shellcrackers will do the trick (wooden billed and the G2). I just modified one of my OG wooden shellcrackers with a bill and while I didn't get the angle quite right for a pure wake bait, it definitely can be used as a wake and crank. It also catches fish - I gave it a second test swim Saturday night and caught 5 bass on it - no giants, but enough to make it clear that they'll eat it. If you can find a billed Shellcracker, snap it up. You could also modify an OG wooden one, but that's a bit more work for sure.
