I bet that took some patients. I could mistake that for a real mother any day

Thanks man, that was the goal!

Very cool! You’re gonna be one of the big names in the swimbait must haves if you continue to produce stuff like this. Especially if you say this is your first go around!

Thanks so much dude! Ill remember you if i ever get big. Haha. That means alot. Not really focusing on making a profit or even selling yet. Just really enjoy the process. Each bait is like a child to me, i spend a lot of time, sweat, and money on them, then i throw them in the water and.... well scratch the last part, but each bait i learn something new. Hopefully i will get into some resin baits whenever i get better.

Looks great, wish I could build baits like that! Was it hard to carve?

With it just being a 2x4, yes it was quite difficult, but i always seem to find a ghetto/jerry-rigged way around things. Most of my earlier baits are made from scrap wood, and scrap parts i find laying around the garage. Thanks for the comment!

It swam just fine whenever i tested it. Had a super wide stable glide.

Yeah im sure it did but just for future models they use bass wood and the profile is a lot more rounded. Swim bait making is a fun craft keep at it
