'Mother in-law'

Handmade mother inspired glide. Its is 12" and a little over 11 ounces. Made from a fresh 2x4. Overall took about 15 hours.

I got it to a slow sink after drilling out most of the lead i put in it. Somewhere around 1 foot a second + - 0.5 second. Painting it a rainbow, even though my bass here have never seen a trout.

This thing is huge, and weighs a butt load, but its gonna be fun to learn. Don't expect to see this in the got'em section, but who knows? :)

Let me know what you guys think!

That’s pretty awesome. How’s the swim?

Just an update, swims beautiful. Very comparable to my RM Nego, but wider. Its about a 2.5 - 3 foot glide. Very methodical and slow. Now if i had a rod and reel to handle the weight, id be able to throw it. :)

Looks great! Wish I could figure out how to twist wire like that!

Ive never done it but saw a vid on youtube.....they put the straight ends in a vice and the "rounded over" end in a drill and used the drill to twist it up. Stopped once it was all tight, keeping a loop / hole.

You could look up marling baits on youtube, he does it a little different than me, but still a great way. Thanks dude!
