AllThingsFishing
Here's my first fish on my very first Bucca bull shad swimbait. This was the 6 inch gizzard slow sink model. Caught her during the pre spawn this year and she went almost 7lbs at 6.78 on the digital scale. I've since bought another 6 inch in bone, a 7 inch gizzard that I want repainted and an 8 inch gizzard, all slow sink. My favorite multi joint big swimbaits!! So far this season alone I'm at 27 bass over 5lbs in my pursuit of finally getting a 10+lber under my belt. Hasn't happened yet but I won't put the big baits down until I catch her! I live down south in Georgia and fish lakes, ponds, Rivers and saltwater here, Alabama, Tennessee and Florida. Sometimes south Carolina once every blue moon. Right now I've been fishing lake Lanier and Allatoona a lot. Most of my big fish this year were caught around the spawn. Pre spawn thru post spawn was the most productive. It'll be hit or miss for a while now until about September/October.
