jiggerjake
For guys fishing the Northeast. What colors do you like to throw on your DEPS slide swimmers ? Right now I'm thinking either the Flash carp.Butch Brown Trout or Hatchery Trout
Loganodum38
A large portion of us,( I would say most of us). Don’t really care about color, or think it doesn’t make a difference with the exception of fishing a darker or flashier color in dirty water. Most us of just happen to have more than one color of the same bait because we like to hoard. basskickinrednick, Rogervang and VolunteerSwimbaits 2
chefchris
Carp and trout are all you need for NE waters. but the ayu and bass color both slay up here too. Any of the carp varieties work (flash, wild, etc) Tangaroo215
waynem
Add me to the guys who don't think the color is all that important up here. For example I bought a ghost Keta Bass 250 with the intent of getting it wrapped in a perch pattern. I took it out on trip just to check out the swim before sending it out for the wrap. I caught a couple of good fish on that trip, another couple the next day, and quickly decided to leave the color just as it is. I still throw that bait as often as I throw flash carp, BB bass, etc. I think as long as its not a totally weird color the bass hit 250s because the look like a fish and swim naturally. urbanhick
* million casts later using a variety of 250 colors my best fish was 5lbs even on the BB OG Bass.
jakem1895
Don’t overthink the color thing. Get one that looks natural and it’ll do the job. I’ve had success with ghost ayu more than any color on New England. Doesn’t look like anything in particular we have up here. waynem and CaliBassin
bigpoppabass
Luv the swim, can't even get a follow tho. Islide 185 is a much better bait, and their trouts get bit.
