mjaygrunt
Looks fishy. I have had a couple of Mother’s ( some repainted ones too) and they don’t look like that. DirtySouthGlide

Tangaroo215
It definitely looks a little off. That tail on it makes it look really suspicious
danthefisherman
That is not an original Roman Made...you can tell from the hook hangers and tail design especially. El_Weruso
South Paw
Well I got burned then, and I thank you guys for your replies. Not sure if it even swims. I paid 200$ pondbeater and Tangaroo215
Mossypumpkin
Could still be a mother with. Replaced tail, eyes and hook hangers but not sure anyone would go to those lengths to customize a mom. gradycodd
I wrapped that thing in 2016, but couldn't tell you off the top of my head if it was real or not and I can't figure out who sent it in, but the easiest way to tell is to poke into it with a blade and see if it's resin or wood. You'd would be surprised how many resin mothers and knockoff baits people used to send me. I always just assumed people would tell you it was a knockoff if they sold it but maybe that's putting too much faith in humanity lol. South Paw
Wow! The truth and history! I have never held or owned one to know but I will dig into it and let you know what I find. Your paint is nice so it should get bit as long as it swims! Fish it like you lost it, right!
