It’s been 5 days since I’ve slung any baits. Waaaaahaaaaa This was 2 days before they closed lake. Was on a solid bite too. Hopefully it’s still cracking when they reopen to public. FishDr Posted August 16, 2020 Report Share Posted August 16, 2020 Maybe you could run up a load of food and water for the wildland firefighters...and then get access to the lake? We've got a big fire here that has shut down some of my lakes/rivers as well, and cut off access to few others, unless you want to take a detour that adds an easy 2 - 3 hours to a 5-h drive. Though at the same time I'm glad its such an over-regulated place, as that is the reason it cranks out trophy fish every year.
