Dispatch: At the beginning of the month Working Class Zero released the new & improved Battles Shad 9.0. The enhanced version of the 9.0 features a state-of-the-art harness for increased durability. It also includes the new tormentor twist tail for increased action, the stealth mode hook slot for a more effective weedless presentation, and the chaos air chamber for better hookup ratios. WCZ Battleshad 9.0

January SUB Tournament: The first SUB tournament of the year only had two fish submitted but they were both noteworthy. The winner was member @ikavelli who managed to fool a thick Double Digit who fell for his Phoney Frog glide. The win guarantees him a spot in the annual Battle for the Underground as well as earned him a SU gear pack. Honorable mention goes to @Honda450 with a 25” California largemouth that inhaled his Baitsmith Mag. Flipside: @Delta_fisher started his year off right by hitting the river in search of giant swimbait-eating stripers. He was able to convince one to eat using a Sly Guy Lures Replica Trout & attributes part of his success to the Straight Braid Customs assist hooks. His smile along with @Deltaman’s says it all! 2020 Grassroots Bait Swap: To kick off the year, SU member @chefchris is organizing another bait swap for our members who enjoy building their own baits. The thread indicates that there will be a three month period where participants may craft their baits, share their progress, and finally swap with others. Lots of progress-pics have been shared so far & we are excited to see everyone’s final products. Head over to the thread and follow the builder’s journeys.

Spotlight: At the beginning of the new year, @Fallof74 was ready to test his theory of where he believed the trout eaters were holding.
