    Fishing in higher current at night has been a consistent pattern for success this summer. Tried a couple topwater lures but the fish wanted the 6.8 Keitech, and they were smashing on it. Best two of the night were (first pic) 6.4lbs and (second pic) 5.3lbs.

    The kid just bought it last night for $120 plus tax and shipping, and so did half of SU since they were up for so long. It’s understandable that he’s young and inexperienced, but hopefully this was a lesson learned. It’s one thing to buy it and use it to trade, but to buy it and flip it 12 hours later before even receiving it for an $80 profit will get you some not-so-nice comments on here

    Market seems to be almost flooded with DRT baits - lots of small shops getting them. Possibly DRT is producing more baits because of the amount of knock offs hitting the market.

    probably a good topic for me to respond to… before I got my 250s i fished the baitsanity for a good chunk of time. I caught some big fish on it, at the time I thought it had an unbeatable action. that all changed when I got my first deps. the deps has a much more stable/ smooth glide, looks way more natural, and is an all around higher quality bait. After fishing the deps for a few months the other day I threw the baitsanity and realized it nosed up and it’s glide wasn’t nearly as smooth and natural looking. If you are balling on a budget and are new to the game get a baitsanity. like the comments said above, don’t get ripped off and buy one for 180. Black market is the move.

    I’ve been looking for something to mimic large skipjack. Larger than any baits I’ve seen. I couldn’t find them so I decided to try to make one. Total Hard Body length 10” Total Length 17” This is my first bait I’ve ever made or assembled. I’m really blown away it didn’t turn on its side and swim like a potato. A large rabbit hole just opened. After throwing it I think I want to try to “quiet down” the middle section a touch and “liven up” the head section a touch. Not sure how to accomplish that.     Was wondering if there’s any other members on here that placed an order with Black Dog baits around the 15th of this month. Bubba Shellcrackers and G2 Shellcrackers in a custom color (August Special) we’re available. I was quick enough to pick up one of each but, have not heard anything since and it’s been a couple weeks. Not sure if the baits are still being made? Tried sending an email to no avail. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same or received their baits. Thanks and I apologize if this was posted in the wrong forum!

    Couple sticks that never get used anymore. would prefer pickup/meet up in RI/MA/CT area. I live near providence & and work in Fall River, willing to meet within reason. Priced to move and a great way to set up if you’re newer into baits or just want a new stick revelation/nameless 795, rated 1-4oz, awesome small treble bait rod, maxes out at around 3oz, I used to throw the g2s, small wakes and even the 6” citizens, nice custom stick with very little use. $150 phenix mx 80H, rated 1-6, but I would rate it 1-3oz real world, very light factory stick. Was a back up and maybe used 2x, again awesome treble bait stick, excellent condition $100 trades would be hiro 8.5” trout color glides, billrillas, TKs, illudes, will entertain other baits. might ship if no one local wants em. But local sales take priority.

    While I've fished neither, I'm pretty sure if money isn't a problem most people would say go with the 250. As far as I know, the general consensus on the Baitsanity is it's a poor man's 250; a slow, wide, open-water glide (as opposed to a "cover glide"), good action, just not quite as wide and smooth and top-shelf as the 250. Also, for what it's worth, Tactical Bassin swears by the Baitsanity as a cheap alternative to the 250, they mention it in all their Swimbait vids. Hope this helps, I'm sure users will chime in.
