First trip last week for nada. Got out tonight missed 2 but stuck 2. A dink then a nice one. She t-boned it. 6-11 on the scale. Hell yea!

Finally broke the curse and stuck a fish over 4 making it a new PB for me lol after grinding for hoursss in the cold & wind . Made a nice cast on a windy point and about half way into the retrieve she sucked down the new mink from the last drop ,Can't think of a better to way break in a bait . Even better I had zero doubts of a rat bite as we had a freeze warning overnight and the daytime high of 50 after having weeks of weather in the 70's..she went 5.15

I bought a lifetime fishing license when i turned 16, for 1k. covers all my cards and all add ons, at my lake its usually 8$ to park and 5$ for a fishing pass, other places around me don't charge fees.

Around the hook eye you can hit it with a little thin set type of super glue and then sprinkle it with a bit of baking soda. It will harden instantly. once you have the hook eye area built up,a bit replace the eye and then add layers of super glue and baking soda up around the hook eye - sand and shape as required. I busted the tail off this WNC 2 years ago and it’s still going strong.

Finally got a tripod! Super legit! A butt ton of swim footage coming soon, old baits and new!

Come up to DVL and launch a boat. They charge for parking, launch, number of people and re-entry tag. Almost 50 bucks a day…..

Hell of a trip was blessed with great weather, slow fishing, and some BIGS caught. Threw some different baits different pattern and it definitely worked! Threw the big stuff and didn’t happen, the green leaf clone and the 6” burrito were getting absolutely CHEWED! Fished one 6” burrito and it went from a fresh bait to one that looks as if it went through a blender, absolutely thrashed with a broke harness but it got it done! Tied my length pb with a 27 3/4” 8.1 pound big head tooth pick bass and my new pb at 10.6 at 11:45 December 31st. Sat back cooled down and watched the fire works from the lake. Enjoy can’t wait to get back.

so at one time i owned like 18-20 of them. think now i have 12 if you have a wake and like throwing it then get a crankdown i have wakes that strictly wake and some that wake that get down 1' max on the crankdowns i have some that go 3-5' and a few others that go 7-8' (those were special request, a few of which came from @bassbass i believe) the majority of the crankdowns get down about 4' on a long cast and quick crankdown, then they'll stay at that depth on a slow retrieve, you can run em into timber and them seem to really crush it in grass, ill kind of twitch em thru grass and pads and when they pop free they get hammered. the longer you fish em the better they get, its a tsaple bait for me that i got away from last seasonfor no reason in particular but already swapped out hooks and got em prepped for this season color wise for the crankdown i like the nutria/muskrat color but my other go to color is pink with the zebra lines in it

I have run all three. My favorite is the ultrex because it reacts so quick. That’s definitely help me not bang into shore retrieving baits. That being said I think all three are great options. I run the terrova on my boat and have had no issue in 4 years with it. Only problem with that one is it doesn’t have the fun upgrades the others do. All in all I think any of the trolling motors with the “spot lock” capability are well worth the money. Just pick whichever one talks to your electronics best so you maximize the motors usefulness.

How's it swim? Really doesn't look that major other then just replacing a eye if it still swims the same I wouldn't even mess with it .

I’d love to hear your feedback on the bait once you swim it.
