Thank you. It works for me. Still leaves plenty of room for car keys, cell phone and a few other add ons if necessary. I even kept a small tripod for my phone in there at times.

That particular Plano bag I purchased from Walmart. Definitely water resistant to heavy rain and such, being the inside is lined. I believe it’s a 3500 or 3600 size. I can get you better dimensions if you like later on. The board bag was attached with the included Molle attachment system incorporated with the bag.

I believe the board bag was a collaboration between Swimbait Underground and SuperBait.
The “Swimbait Underground x SuperBait Board Bag” I purchased was offered in 2021 on both Swimbait Underground Retail site and on the WCZ website. I haven’t seen them in quite some time. I actually like it. It allows the board to air out and dry after using it. It’s actually pretty durable.
Surprised  they don’t offer them or some sort of variant more often with the amount of travel boards out there.

@swimbaitunderground will there ever be a return of the board bags?

We will have more Superbait bags very soon and the board bag will be available.

I agree with all of this. But there’s a major flaw with the feedback system on this site. Anyone can leave any feedback for anyone else for any reason. And that’s a big deterrent. I don’t think I’ve ever left negative feedback on this site. Been here 12 years I think. You suppose I’ve never had a bad transaction? Baits packed poorly? People taking weeks to ship? Many times…..the problem is, people are too arrogant to admit when they’re doing something wrong. And I know damn well the minute I leave negative feedback, they’re going to come up with excuses to do the same for me. And I don’t need that. And once that’s left, it’s permanent. I could leave literally anyone here negative feedback for no reason whatsoever and it sticks with them. So in order for this to work, something needs to be changed in the feedback system.

What good is a feedback system if you don’t leave negative feedback. Maybe use what we do have properly and only use PayPal as goods/service?

  3. For every monthly SUB and Battle the SU Crew takes a look at all entries submitted. In some cases it is easy for us to validate the fish and in others it is difficult. In addition to the Crew we also send Battle entries to 8-10 well respected members of the Swimbait Community (both forum members and not).

When it comes to documenting your catches we encourage you to shoot as many photos as you can and when possible video of the weight. The more photos and angles you have the easier it is for us to validate a catch. In a perfect world we would require all entries to have full Cast 2 Catch but we know a good number of our members are on shore and C2C is not possible.

One thing that make it easier on us is a straight down shot of the fish on the board with the top lip as close to 0 as possible. Some prefer to close the mouth but that usually requires a second person to take the photo as you hold it. Example below

If you are ever questioning if you have enough pics or videos, just take more.

Thanks again to all entries in all our tournaments, at the end of the day we can only make calls based on the photos and videos we have.

  5. Seems like there have been some scammers lately. There have been 2 types

    1. Long time members with good reputations from previous transactions. These guys are posting baits only taking PayPal friends and family and selling the same bait multiple times and never sending it to anybody.

    2. New members answering WTB ads via PM saying their friend is selling please send them the money. (we have disabled PMs for new members as a result)

    SOLUTION:

PAY WITH GOODS AND SERVICES ONLY.

Any ads posted saying friends and family only will be deleted no matter how long the member has been here.

The site regularly crashing and being glitchy doesn't really bother me, but saw this post and thought it was worth clarifying that SU definitely makes money on our traffic alone through advertising. It's not just the store. Every time we visit the black market or any forum, we are benefitting them monetarily. I agree SU doesn't owe us an explanation, but I disagree about the forums not being a money maker in and of themselves. They obviously are. Love SU and all they do, but let's not twist it and pretend our traffic on the forums isn't a money maker for them.

There are no paid advertisers on SU, we do not make $ on traffic alone. The only time the forum is compensated is when members click through the banner and purchase from TW.

The forum has been up for about 12.5 years now and we try to keep it running 24/7. In those years we’ve probably been down a total of 20 days.

We regularly have to update the forum software and servers. This update just took longer than most.

If you look at the label on the new trebles, they are sized / rated as such:

    Size 2 | 1.0 G    Size 1 | 1.4 G    Size 1/0 | 2.0 G

Does anyone have any insight as to what the "G" rating represents?  It''s not weight, that's listed in the item description.  They weigh between 8g - 9g depending on which size hook.

It is weight. We had the wrong image in the description. Thanks for catching it we will get it updated.

Not tryin to beat a dead horse or stir post, I've learned my lesson but just have a question.

@swimbaitunderground Once someone has been banned what access do they have to the site?  Can they read and right messages and just not post anything for sale, trade, etc.  or can they not message people and or read messages at all?  The only reason i'm asking is it looks like Whompus was last on the site 20 hours ago and if dude wants to make amends and reimburse the people that he grifted does he have the ability to communicate with them?

Once they’re banned they cannot login or view messages. That’s one of the reasons we don’t typically ban right away as we want to allow the member some time to make things right.
