  1. We are a Forum of avid anglers... it's fairly obvious. Red eyes, lighter color.... No, its not "fairly obvious", theres no set rules to if its a bed fish or not
  2. I personally will never trust the cutting points again after the terrible hookups ive experienced with them. Im experimenting with the gammy 2x round bends or the owner st 36s on my hardbaits
  3. Haha.... side note. I teach at a college and students are on facebook constantly in class, then when they don't pass my tests they wonder why.... that probably feeds my dislike of it That sounds like me
  4. You could keep them in a tackle box, that has seemed to work for me
  5. Your right I was wrong. It doesnt always get taken off, sometimes it will be left up and commented on by the peanut gallery... Great site?? First thing I thought of too
  6. Because its hypocritical to say big worms and bedfishing with a sb is not allowed on this forum but a frog is. And besides complaining seems to be a requirement on this forum thats the way it is, no debates, no "well your opinion is rude", no "hes just a hater". Thats how this board works
  7. This isnt a swimbait, this is a 316 bait so everyone here is plugging it. Dont say your not thats how this site works. Anything mickey wants up stays up, anything he doesnt will get pulled plain and simple. This is a FROG. The snagproof paddle tail legs is a FROG. If this wasnt 316 none of you would support it being on here. Cant talk about a big worm that needs a swimbait stick to throw but theres 5 pages of common chit chat about a frog A spinnerbait with paddletail trailer must be a swimbait now too I dont know anymore.
  8. I wouldnt say wired, will I do it if I happen to see a big fish? Probably
  9. Use something you can see. A mattlures bluegill is definitely a good choice, white mission fish and rising sons work well too, hudds can be effective at pissing fish off. A good idea would be to get the fish really agitated with the swimbait, then flip a jig in there because there is a higher percentage the fish fill stay pinned.
  10. I found mine in fishermans warehouse
  11. Right Bigbaittoon! You must have chains with it if you have any hook other than the Jig hook But they do work great don't they? DotLine Telescopic Lure Retriever 17'8 From BPS or Cabela's at the time, my wife got it for me (for lures) not golf balls . Found this link http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/DotLine_ ... LLR18.html Ya if not then the bait will run free but the whatever hook rig is on there will still be stuck and wont come out. I also know what you mean about spares . Ironic losing a lure retriever to the same snag
  12. I use the musky 10oz one on the right as well, but prefer to leave the chains on it mostly for when I get baits with stingers stuck. So far havnt had an unsuccessful attempt, in the past I wasnt able to retrieve a couple baits on a knocker without chains
  13. Considering you didnt "personally ban me" I guess you do
  14. I own a crucial H and havnt seen the reason to use something else no, but it would still be informative/ reassuring for other people that have the same question what the hookups were like? Dont make this something its not Mickey, I asked a simple question...
  15. Nope, they work real good! Right back at you little man!..............................Next? ExPlain, this is a review section after all, and it handling big fish is an important part of the rods
  16. How does it handle big fish?do you have any trouble hooking up with such a variety of baits?
