  1. I'm not sure where you live but the light gear is great for inshore saltwater fishing.
  2. This has been brought up more than once so a search may be helpfull. If I was on a budget, I would go with the 3:16 soft bluegill and a Gen II Shellcracker. With those two baits you could cover the whole water column for $35. The biggest plus being that they are available
  3. Mack attack! That is awesome!
  4. Hooked Up Tackle had some limited runs around the same time but that was it. Good looking bait.
  5. Congrats sushi buddy!
  6. I would have to disagree that you don't need the detail of a hudd in saltwater. I have spent plenty of days at the island where there was next to no current and I couldn't get bit on plastic to save my life. A hudd might be the ticket on a day like that. It may seem a little pricey but that's fishing. The bait will probably get torn up pretty fast but that doesn't stop people from throwing hudds around pike and musky right? That's what Mend-it and 3:16 glue is for. Let him try it and see what happens. This is the bait that I can't wait to throw for flatties and spotted bay bass when I get back to cali. Looks just like a stupid smelt.
  7. Very cool, looking forward to seeing the night bites
  8. Way to stick em with the limited time you had.
  9. Great fish MR Triv! Those NE fish sure take advantage of the warm summers eh?
  10. That is Oliver but he has nothing to do with HUT anymore. That is all his old partner.
  11. I will send a link when he puts up the video.
  12. He bounced a 10-5 on the cast before that and ended up with 4 fish for 40lbs 7oz on that trip, without this one LOL It is fun to give him a hard time about this stuff as he is one of the best swimbait sticks I know. For what would have been loosing the fish of a lifetime for most of us, was just loosing a fish that day for him
  13. It is a single frame from the video. Can't wait to see the whole video.
  14. A Rago of sorts. I think it is a soft tool but it looks to be a bit bigger. He is pretty tight with Rago so it may be something special.
  15. My buddy tried bouncing this beast with less than positive results. I can't wait to see the whole video.

    Too darn cool man!
  20. They don't win beauty contests, they just get bit. In fact, the uglier and more beat up they are, the better they seem to work. Just check out their facebook page incase anyone doubts this statement.
  21. Welcome to the gang. Couple things to watch out for, if you fish with baits other than swimbaits, that is great, just don't talk about it here (unless it is a No Bull Frog, that bait gets a pass on here) The flipside is only for fish caught on swimbaits and most importantly, don't get all caught up in trying to get a 3:16 hardbait. Be patient and they will come. Don't pay flipper prices. Just enjoy the readily available, most excellent soft baits and in time you will be able to add a few hard baits here and there.
  22. Sounds like that host has taken a few tips from Roland Martin Great chunker!
