This is something I want to do next!

I will give some baits away. Lots of stuff from other cool companies and builders. There will be baits for sale from myself, Pizz customs, Profumo baits, magnum baits, and a few other small builders. I have bbq catered for the event, ipa brewed for Toxic day, drinks of all types. This event was planned as a get together/ event that would bring anglers together without the need of a tournament. I am blessed to do what I do, it’s all because of the customers. I want to give back as much as I can. That being said the support has been incredible and humbling to say the least. I can’t believe the amount of peeps that are down to come hang out and chill. I hope I can meet expectations but even more I hope we can all come together and meet new friends and network through our common culture of fishing! That’s the deal for me! I just want to have a great time and party with other fisherman that like the stuff i do too. The speakers should be insightful and hopefully people can leave with more than a toxic bait.

Nice man. Glides can be tough on hook ups. That bait def gets bit by the big girls. Gonna try and throw the lipless stuff a lot more this year. Good Luck in 2019!

Wrapped rods have fewer guides creating fewer dead spots in the blank, reducing weight and increasing sensitivity. Just having less eyes on a rod is a seller for me. Also with heavy line and big baits line slap in definitely noticeable while casting with conventional style rods.

IMO the Calcutta TE/Conquest are torque monsters. But the other reels are great too. I think your decision will.come.down to what gear ratio you prefer.

This has been around forever. It was jiggerpollin' back in the day. It's in all the old books. Roland Martin explains the technique and how the rod tip splashing is part of the presentation. Biggest fish Roland ever caught came on this technique. So does it work stateside? LOL it's worked before Japan was even thinking about it. Pictures post backwards, you can read from bottom to top.

I have a couple dozen rods. Only issues I have had are some of the tip inserts falling out but spiralite will send flanged tips for replacement upon request. I took a step back from the role I was playing but I still 100% love the product and am working on a Toxic Baits travel rod with them. Most complaints have came from people buying the 99-125$ maverick series and imo expecting too much out of a rod in that price range. I haveent heard any complaint on the Defiant series. That being said I use the maverick/defiant series equally and some of my favorite rods are mavericks.

both the 83 and 86 maverick series have parabolic type actions, good for glides, although I prefer the defiant
