    this reel definitely has me torn. ive been waiting for a smaller tranx for some time now but dont want that power handle on a High Speed. the DRT Varials are sweet for sure...just by the time you get that, the knobs and the nut, youre in another $250...in which case you could almost buy another Tranx and take the handle off of that haha.

    the effing worst is when some meat-stick asks you to perform a photoshoot of the items they're interested in and then you never hear from them. "hey can you change the lighting for me? maybe put it on a black backdrop? how about putting it in full glide pose for me? work it! work it! yeaaaah"...slight exaggeration but you get the point.

    i've had the guys address for years and cant bring myself to send money to him for a bait that may never show up. at this point the Pat's "brand" is so polarizing and has reached mythical status. it's a good bait, but, IMO a cult bait. this is a pay to play game with PLENTY of alternatives to something that you have to degrade yourself and beg for. if someone wants one that badly, they will pay market price. $1200 is crazy talk to me but who am i?

    X3. Ive ordered countless lures and reels from all of these sites. Longest I had to wait was MAYBE two weeks but most arrived in a week or less. Not one problem.

    not 100% true (and i don't mean to be a dick about it). I contacted them last year about needing 2 tails to replace some that had basically melted in the heat. Peter from RM got back to me within a day. I mentioned the fact that I would happily buy them but was hoping to get them for a little less than $30 per tail. He sent me 2 tails at no charge but did say that the price was higher to curb people using them for knock offs. Theyll definitely help you out if you're honest about it.
