Lake Biwa pumps out multiple DDs everyday. Every spring, the lake will pump out a handful of 12-15lb fish. Even guys from shore will catch 12-14lb bass. The lake is very pressured but the fish are so wired there. So much forage to feed on all the time. It is illegal to release bass though but most of the Japanese anglers still release them anyways to basically give the government the middle finger. The government does shocking's every spring and takes out a lot of bass but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Less bass equals more food for the ones that are still in the lake making them grow extremely large. The reason most guys over here don't see the Japan catches is that algorithms here in the states don't recommend Japanese content to you, you yourself have to go and search it yourself before the algorithm decides to start regularly showing it to you.

A little late but I have both rods. Both rods are amazing for the K9 but in my opinion, the R2 is the better of the two. The R2 is slightly faster than the Pulse but both parabolic. The R2 is lighter than the pulse which was a surprise. With the two rods, it feels like the only bait that should be put on the R2 is the K9 while I will fish the TiK on the Pulse as well as the K9. Both fight fish great as well.

Bring the yak, you're going to need it for the lakes out here to get to better spots. Swimbait fishing has been tough but you can definitely still get it done.

Here is the sequel to my Swimbait Fishing In The Wild West that I made a few years ago. In this video, some of our best catches are captured and filmed and presented to you guys!

I made a video showing how I convert Silent Killer 250's to Slide Swimmer 250's. This is just the way that I personally do it. There are definitely other and quite possibly, easier ways to do it as well.

What's up guys, I was able to get my hands on the new Roman Made Mother Chaser and this bait is absolutely ridiculous! I made a video on the bait to summarize and answer some questions surrounding the bait! What are your guys's thoughts on this thing? Practical or not really?

Anybody have a DRT Klash 9 for sale in the US Carp color? Lost mine at the lake the other day and would like to replace it.

I really don't get this advice. If this was taken to a T and everyone was A, avoiding using what everyone else was using and B, lying about what baits they're using, wouldn't people be avoiding baits that other people didn't actually use rendering the entire thing useless? Lol. Either way I don't mind being honest about what baits I'm using, techniques whatever. If it happens to help a guy out, I'm happy for him
Having the entire swimbait community agree on something to a T is actually impossible, you proved it yourself, you disagreed with what I had to express and that is fine. What I wrote wasn't meant for everyone to drop everything and resort to my ways/methods. If you love helping out guys and telling people where and what you're throwing, more power to you. My whole thing was to get others to think about their approach to different things and to see if adjusting could net them different results.

Im honestly glad people dont fish the trouts, more fish for the dudes that do fish them It definitely is a bait that you have to dedicate some time to learn but once you understand when to throw it, it can put in some work.

Went out on back to back solo trips while my fishing buddy went up to minnesota to hang out with family and I was able to connect on two fish and both fished weighed the exact same, 7.3lbs. Very different looking fish for sure. One was very stocky while the other one was longer and skinnier. First time going out on a solo trip and actually landing a good swimbait fish made me feel like I finally became a man lol.
