Your going to need a dremmel, a file and a marker. First I shaved down the sides of the bait where the joint is. when you do this make sure you keep the curvature of the bait don't shave it strait down.
Now you should use the file to fine tune each side (make sure they are even). After that put some spots on the tail (Both Sides), switch out the hooks ST-41's and put a 60# split ring on the nose. You're done.
Now it should have a wider swimming action to it at a medium retrieve, it should swim like the 250.
This will give you a wider glide to the 230 it did to mine and made a big difference.
