  4. That's not the PROTOTYPE that's the anniversary piece for when they started the company it sitting in the head office . But there making a bigger one than the 230.
  5. Heard from a inside source that Gan Craft is making a bigger bait. The 300, I know that it will be 300 mm long I don't know about the weight though but expect it to heavy. Ill keep everyone posted. But be on the lookout for it within the next Year or so.
  6. congrats. that's a great fish!!!
  7. very informative. cant wait to throw my mother next year.
  8. Can't go wrong with the trout. I throw trout baits even if there is no trout in the lake they seem to be more interested in it because they don't see it that often.
  9. I haven't had any problem with mine
  10. I had a hobo come up to me one time when I was fishing at night. I thought it was a cop I talked to him for a little bit but he was cool. but I never let him get close to me. you always have to be carful you never know what's going to happen.

    I believe...

    Nice...great bag!!!!
  12. Your going to need a dremmel, a file and a marker. First I shaved down the sides of the bait where the joint is. when you do this make sure you keep the curvature of the bait don't shave it strait down. Now you should use the file to fine tune each side (make sure they are even). After that put some spots on the tail (Both Sides), switch out the hooks ST-41's and put a 60# split ring on the nose. You're done. Now it should have a wider swimming action to it at a medium retrieve, it should swim like the 250. This will give you a wider glide to the 230 it did to mine and made a big difference.
  13. I fish 30 lb P-line for the 250 and 8" hudds but the smaller baits 3 oz and less I use 15lb seaguar tatsu youll get a better hook set with the fluorocarbon verses just using mono on both rods and they cant see the fluro. but when you through the bigger bait ive notced that they are more interested in the bait and don't care if they can see the line. Hope this helps out a little.
  14. nice, that's one little determined fish. LOL
  15. Nice fish bro. You should big a scale with you next time.
  16. You should have left the 250 in this month. But nice fish bro.
  17. Nice post. Now I know what to do if mine ever breaks.
  18. At least you got good weather all year round I'm in Illinois. Its getting cold 37 right now
  19. first day using my dobyns 867. I like this rod its very light for the long length it is. when this fish hit I felt it as so as he hit it. when that fish loaded up I had no problem getting him in. I was also throwing the 250 with it and it feels like your throwing a 2 oz. bait.
