I've had snapper at game feeds. They have dark & white meat just like turkey. The guys are right about the jaws, can snap a broom stick.

Welcome aboard Tony, lots of strippers over on this coast, but, i'm totally into freshwater bass. A lot of the lures we talk about will get crushed by stripers. Send some pics when you thump em.

Nice smallie...that lure is like the pide piper with smallmouth. They seem to follow it for great distances.

Like a couple guys mentioned, if it swims a bass will attack because the hunger overrides most other factors. The size of the food will not matter. They will attack and then attempt to eat it. I'm sure some of you guys have had a bass hit a lure way to big to swallow. I once caught a ten inch bass on a surface lure much bigger than the bass.

Rumors need to be proven. If it is true, the bobber must have been as big as the barrels in "jaws" .
