Ds glide is very stable

Following this topic! Tubes are one of my goto conventional baits

I love rigging them with nail weights. They make it suspend or an ROF 1 maybe 2. Perfect in shallow waters or over weed beds. I wanted to fish big baits in shallow water in the winter but was catching weeds.

I love smallies. I don’t get em on swimbaits much. I usually throw regular stuff on spinning rods. They are so much fun. Love having them jump even in dead winter

Haven’t gone out bass fishing since mid April. It’s saltwater season here in MA. I needed to get out. Did a shore trip. Brought my surf rod to bomb baits out there Spot one was good a big fish spot. Had a few whacks on the crawler. Put on the PG. They loved it. Few whacks. Stuck twin 5-11s from 2 different areas and a 3. Hit spot 2. Water was really high couldn’t fish the spot well. It fishes well with lower water. When the waters high it’s really shallow can’t reach the drop offs. But I tried. Had one big blow up on the PG. Got one smaller fish and missed a decent one on a T rig rage bug. Tried the DS crawler. Immediately got smoked. Thought I had my 3rd 5er. But couldn’t get that extra ounce to get her over. She was 4-14. Then got a nice 3lb smallie on the crawler. First smallie for me on a DS bait. The 3rd pond was dead. Couldn’t get a sniff

Glides and soft baits

Fished hard last night in the kayak. 7pm-1 am. Lot of dead water. Took me a while to get hit. Missed a couple of fish on the PG. Kept working my way, popped a 5-10 on the Ds customs Ninja Wake at an isolated weed patch. Found a weedy point. Got another 5-7, a 3 and missed a giant again all on the DS ninja wake. They wouldn’t hit, the slammer, crawler, glide, a rat, or PG.

I got lake trout on 6 inch hudds out here in Ma. They were hammering it. I lost a giant on a weeds 68.

Got a handful today up here in MA. Weird bite they only wanted the DS glide and Matt’s strong shad up top worked slow. They weren’t in the wind. They were hiding out. It was blowing 20, tough out there on the kayak.

It’s grind time buddy, going out today. Big storm late tonight! Hope they are hungry

Yea dude, winter came back, I was pumped to get that one, not a giant just a healthy 4lber.

I love this bait so much! Got out on the my kayak after work. Hit a pond I haven’t been to in years. This is only the 3rd I’ve fished it. Got 2 bass on the glide, wouldn’t hit anything else. But to be fair I didn’t fish a lot of baits. She hit on a sunny shallow windy shore!
