Personally I don't think there is a real definitive answer here. There is a corner of bass fishing that hates bed fishing and its mainly around C&R trophy anglers. A vast majority of bass fisherman are tournament anglers and they treat the spawn like its xmas. There is also some interesting information theories that C&R is starting to hurt fisheries so wouldn't pulling fish off beds help in slowing the overpopulation? I'm not sure but I'd be interested to see studies on it. For me I dont bed fish, I was raised by a diehard tournament angler so I have its just not my thing as I dont do tourneys but I wouldn't call someone unethical because they do mostly because I know a ton of guys that do it and theyre some of the biggest conservationists I know.

Haha ya that’s why I waited a few weeks she was sitting just off a point waiting to come up and spawn didn’t want to blow the spot up until she’s off a bed.

New Pb smallie from a few weeks ago went 4-5. Cranking the TK subsurface she came up off the bottom of a point and smoked it.

Honestly I kind of hate the TK the only way I’ve seen fish eat them is dead walking or cranking. The only advice I have for you is sell all your TK’s and buy a K9. 10x the bait and will catch better class fish

Congrats on the truck man. I went to Toyota to look at a 4Runner ended up leaving with a leftover Tacoma back in early 2019 when leftover trucks were a thing. Have 0 regrets keep up on maintenance and it’ll last you a long time. The one downfall is it’s geared more for off-roading so it’s constantly searching for gears on the highway it downshifts for hills and to pass constantly other than that I don’t have a bad thing to say about it.
