Only post worthy fish of June.One of those bites you don't hear. She slurpped it down next to a large patch of isolated pads. Thought for sure it went over seven. Weighed in at 6-12 at 22.5" long. Special fish because it was caught with a crawlerbait turned on a lathe by an old timer for me.

Crawlerbait continues to produce. Plenty of fish but only three made the post. 5-4 early in the month. 6-8 during the SU monthly and a 5-9 on Memorial Day from the kayak.

Last two years its been twice a week. On the weekend before work. Session last anywhere from one to two hours. Starting around 3:30 a m. Usually shore banging from boat ramps and beaches because it's the most accessible. I have around 7or 8 lakes i keep in rotation. Some trout and some Black Crappie waters. The Crappie waters seem to produce bigger fish. One rod and a box of wake baits and crawlers. Which lake i hit depends on weather and time of year. Since i have less than two hours to fish lake/pond choice is critical. June - August are definitely my slower months.
