Took my girlfriend out today for our first fishing adventure together. Needless to say we had a blast! Got her her first swimbait fish and then I got my PB smallie! 3lbs 10oz 20 1/4in. Caught 6 fish in the TK and then threw a vision 110 around for crappie. Also a crappie on the cha cha glide.

Was able to get out yesterday (skipped class) and find my first Maine bass of the year. Caught 4 deadwalking the TK all in the 2-3lb range there was a huge school of crappie that moved through and I think the Shiner TK did a good job of matching the hatch. Because they wouldn’t hit anything else lol. Once the crappie moved on the fish stopped biting lol. Still looking for a big one.

TK has been the ticket trough the transition for me in Maine. After struggling the past couple seasons at this time of year, it’s been rewarding putting together a pattern. The formula’s simple; find declining rock faces, rig TK to suspend, deadwalk til they can’t stand it anymore. Lost count how many fish I’ve caught the past few trips as the tiny klash will also attract smaller fish I’d usually rarely see throwing larger swims. Best two so far have been the two pictures below, 5-2 and 4-6. Hoping to run into a pig this fall, keeping the tk tied on til Maine ices over.

Curious, what hooks come stock in the Klash 9 & Tiny Klash? Also if I’m looking to replace the hooks, what hooks do you guys think are best for them?
