  1. This is awesome! I've been telling myself to play with more transparent patterns but never do when the time comes. Killer work man!
  2. Its painted blank you can buy online. Lots of custom crank guys paint them for anywhere from 15-30 bucks.
  3. If anyone picked up an extra wild beat from the drop tonight I'll pay the shipping and put a little extra in your pocket for one. They sold out before I could figure how to pay
  4. Killer work man! That paint job is spot on
  5. I've never seen this way of weighting a bait either, I'll be stealing this at least once to try it out. Looks good!
  6. For anyone who cares I just put up a short swim video on my instagram @biggirlbaitshop
  7. I'm working on this 3 piece at the moment and it is more then likely what I'll be entering, the 1st one has caught a hand full of fish but the fins aren't the greatest so I'm leaving those out and now I'm playing with joint styles to see if I like one better then the other. Wooden bait around 6" long and If I remeber right 2.5oz for a slow sink you can downsize hooks to make a floater/super slow sink depending on water temp
  8. This sounds like a great time
  9. I'm down, and waiting for the northern guys lakes to thaw out sound great since I work as slow as the day is long
  10. Just like everyone is saying man it's a jig so fish it like one. You can crawl it or hop it, use it to flip and pitch it's extremely versatile
  11. I've been using the tacklewarehouse backpack for a few years now, it will hold a deep 3700 and a 3600 and then some. It has a plier holder on the side that makes it pretty easy to get to them. Mines pretty tore up at this point but Its mostly my fault. I've got the giant flambeau bag too, its held up great and it's almost like a mobile workbench. Downfall is its gigantic
  12. That's a great way to make up for lost time on the water!
  13. Hell ya! She's been eating good, great catch man
  14. The white and chartreuse tail combo looks killer
  15. I fish Sam Rayburn a few times a year and have always done well with bone and sexy shad. I've also done well with natural shad colors on both Toledo bend and Sam Rayburn
  16. You might try swim shotting a vatallian on that ledge. It floats but it's got lots of vibration compared to most swimbaits
  17. I would go with a rat of some kind, and a hard bait with some kind of thump or vibration and fish it slow to give them lots of time to track it. You could also try putting a Colorado blade on a flashy swimmer for those wrs to add a little to it
  18. I threw one around today just to get a feel for what it will do and so far I can say that I will wake on slow retrieve with the nose down and the tail up for a nice snakey action to it. Once it starts to crank down it digs in and dives fairly quick probably to the 2'-3' range and gets a little roll to it. The water was stained and pretty dark so I'm not positive on the 2'-3' depth but there is a eyelet right under the bill to add a weight. It also comes with silencers and a snap as well
