Not the regular ones, but white freestyle ones on a beast hook work pretty good in small ponds.

Baby possum is my favorite but also use the micro mink and Illude chipmunk. With great success. If you are just dipping your toes Spro 50 just works.

First couple bass banging the banks at a local pond bank during lunches. Will be back out the kayak soon. One on a Hudd 68, one a Magdraft FS, and the last one on a K9. Nothing huge, but it's a start.

Excellent write up and detailed explanation. I just ordered that rod with the intent of beating banks on work trips with TKs to K9s. Glad to see that combination works so well.

I leave them squeaky. But if I had to I probably would use a small amount of Superlube. It's a clear food safe grease that doesn't smell.

Nope you’re right. Same issue with my tenure. If someone questions my legitimacy I can point to trader feedback on other forums but I get it. It’s a shame on me situation, I just wanted to be sure before I get negative.

Anyone know @Zaneb? I bought a bait from him a couple weeks ago and he ghosted me. Shame on me for using F&F but he had some positive feedback it I said screw it. I tried to hit him up here, on email, and on Instagram but no answer since the 3/22. I don't want to leave the guy negative feedback if something is really wrong. Figured I start here before I do that. Thanks.

I've used both and really can;t tell the difference. Either way I usually touch up with some heat too. You really can bring back baits from the brink and make them fishable again.

A Toxic wake or Slammer would make for a good addition.

Looking for replacement tails for a 7" Slammer. I have been checking every site that I can find that sells them and no one has been in stock for some time. I have repaired my last tail for I'm sorry to say the last time. Anyone know where they are available?

I held off a long time and thought they were probably just hype but my first trip out with one I was hooked. 3 nice fish on first day.

Does anyone have experience with the Kaden travel rods? I can find any legit reviews online and the Dobyns site isn't very descriptive.

Is that the 7'8" model? Are you at the ragged edge of it's range with the K9?
