Went bankfishing today. -it was gloomy, sprinkling, an kinda cool today. -i was the only on the lake because the main road to get there has been closed for about 6 months -was using a rof 12 weedless huddleston the entire time, didnt get one bass bite but had probably a dozen catfish follow the bait to shore, and a equal amount of carp that wouldnt follow as if to eat it but magically appear near the shore 5-10 seconds after getting the bait out of the water. I have never ever seen this happen before, anyone have any clue what the hell would have caused this?

I've been fishing some cold and extremely dirty water, like chocolate milk water, just wondering what any of y'all do in that situation for swimbaits.
