I was able to break my pb largemouth at 5lbs 10oz and my pb smallmouth at 3lbs 15oz, on the same DRT K9. Not bashing you or anything I didn't start throwing swimbaits until I was 44 years old and if it makes you feel better probably didn't catch a bass over 5 lbs. until I was about 25 and that was on conventional baits.
