But wasn’t it for the first generation of the Levante? Fishingthesoutheast

Because the one that broke was the newer gen that I got beginning of 2023. Fishingthesoutheast
maine y yak
Leviathan XH handles my 250s and so many other baits extremely well... I have to believe the xxh will pick up exactly where the xh leaves off for your 7z and up baits. I'm happier w my leviathan than any other big bait rods I own... Also the Shimano expride xxh up to 10oz is a great solution too. I've thrown the ghost and mothership on it very well 8oz. The handle is just a tad shorter than most people like but since getting used to it, I love it. Bombs everything down to 2oz really well and yes it handles big stuff too. Expride or leviathan definitely worth a look. Neither are cheap. Dont be cheap Fishingthesoutheast

It’s fine for baits up to 4.5 oz but I wouldn’t throw anything over 5 oz on it
Warsaw
My 867 falters big time with a Deps 250 and feels super uncomfortable in my hands while fishing. It makes it hard to cast accurately. When I tied the Deps 250 on the 908 it felt perfect, that rod seems to scare people because of it's super high rating and length but it is amazing with 6-7oz baits. I haven't thrown heavier baits on it so I can't say that it will handle them well without experience. IMO, the 867 is not as key of a rod as many claim, highest weight that feels ok on it despite it's rating is 4-5oz and still doesn't feel great while using it with those size baits. Genbuck16
Anyone have experience with the north fork MUXH869 IM-LMX blank? Planning on having leviathan build one off it for +7oz baits. Fishingthesoutheast

No, need a heavier rod. If you are regularly throwing 6+ oz baits I would look at the LDC XH or Leviathan XH. Fishingthesoutheast

You should message Levi Jones from Leviathan Rods for his take. I met him at TD4 and he's a cool guy (guy in black shirt, on the opposite side is Alex from Tackletour.com).
