GrumpyCoyote
I’m taking the next step up to the bigger sized baits. Got myself a King after the classic. What line test and type is everyone throwing the big 9oz baits on? I’ll be using a Leviathan Omega XXH rod with a Calcutta MD

manansalsa
30lb pline or izorline copoly, San Diego jam knot, never fails Edited March 29 by manansalsa GrumpyCoyote
Bout Time
Ande Premium 40lb and San Diego jam knot. I was using 30lb but upgraded to 40. I'm primarily using my big baits targeting stripers thus needing the heavier line. GrumpyCoyote

BASS_SWINGER
Sunline sniper 30lb GrumpyCoyote
Jscarbr
I kinda do all of it. Braid to leader is pretty much the standard for me though, 65lb maxcuatro to a 30lb leader, usually something by Sunline. I also do straight- 30lb PLine PF original, 30lb shooter and 22ln shooter. I wouldn’t hesitate to use 20-30 lb, Izorline, big game, Sunline natural, Sunline sniper, Seaguar invizx or abrazx, etc. I just bought a spool of 4Olb pline cxx, maybe for my Mothership. I’ll probably end up throwing 30lb shooter though. I dunno. There’s a ton of ways to get the job done, try them all. GrumpyCoyote
