Dsouth
Took a 3 hr tour yesterday afternoon at a southeastern Mass LM-Trout stocked pond hoping for a few good bites. Started off cranking a 9†MS Slammer 1X Rainbow pattern around isolated deep pads (5-8’) with 0 bites so I decided to back off and work the 8†Hudd 12 ROF Rainbow, slow draying the bottom in 18-24’ of water. Only 1 bite but she was a nice one that went 6lbs9oz on the digital, after a few quick photos she was set free. Water temps ranged from 48.5 out in open water to 50.1 in shallow areas. Lucas
Nicely done. You rigging any hooks or just the jig hook?
Dsouth
Nicely done. You rigging any hooks or just the jig hook? Stock jig hook on all my 12 + 16 ROF Hudd's the only bait I added a stinger to is the 9.5" Magnam Baitsmith + that's a smaller treble that I try to hide on top with 1 point cut off.
