waynem Posted June 17, 2016 Report Share Posted June 17, 2016 I've been fishing the WadeHoggs bait recently now that the post-spawn females are starting to get active again. It's made solidly - I've bounced it off a few stumps and docks with no problems to the bait or paint. You can wake it on a slow retrieve but I've primarily been cranking it about 3 feet down over points and weed edges. So far I've probably caught about 15 or so bass on the bait, with 5 or 6 of those over 4 pounds. The fish below was 4-13.
