Luke1046
Hello all, I just want to say how much of a pleasure it is to deal directly with Mike. Everytime I've emailed he was quick to respond. I have him making me a Mini so I can use it as a rat. I also like the fact all of his baits are hand made and each one is unique. I don't want to go on a rant but I just want to say never hesitate to deal with him. He makes a great bait and his customer service is top notch. Willluvstafish
Yup, that's a fact. Mike is a great guy who makes a great bait. Live bait makers that are cool to deal with. Luke1046
bigpoppabass
I got my plan to fish baits on milk crates and slammers take up half a milk crate. Enough said...Some baits are customs made for specific lakes.
bigpoppabass
Here r my on my on deck baits for 2017. I have added glitter to a few and sometimes a splash of orange. Lol I just rotated crate for pics. I fish baits Mike made for over a decade each year. I have trended towards crankers 2xs since chemical treatments have removed weed edges in my area. Sorry to hijack but I think it is cool mike marked his baits with dates. I now say this is an 06 or cranking trout day etc. Welcome to the club. bigpoppabass
Awesome picture. Does he offer different colors every year? Not really patterns do change over time due to paints etc....If u have an idea Mike will do it for you. I have sent him lures in the past for him to interpret into slammers. bigpoppabass
I just wanted to add I have slammers in storage too. I have sellers remorse on one and sold it since it was on deck for too long.....I am surprised vintage slammers don't go for collector prices. But that can be good too. I scored an old green trout 2x slammer for $90 on eBay, I consider that a steal. It is a pattern that catches fish not fisherman kind of deal. Dsouth
Agree Mike's a 1st class guy to deal with… Mike used to come east to fish Striped bass with a friend so I was able to meet him and talk about Swim-Baits, awesome guy he sent me this 20†plus 2X Louisville slugger Slammer for Northern Pike I think it’s the biggest Slammer ever made. That’s it next to a few 9†+ 10" Slammer. SEMassBass, swimbaitman, yev14 and 6 others

urbanhick
My oldest Slammer. It's a lot skinnier than the newer ones and cranks down about 4 feet with little effort. Had my best day swimbait fishing using this bait. Luke1046, Good Year 71, swimbaitman and 1 other
