Yes, swim strait and kick at all speeds. Just comes down to getting the ROF you want from the beast hooks.

I actually wrap a few grams of tape around an unweighted hook then coat it in clear nail polish..i can that way have a few diff weights.. easier than shaving a weighted

That is a good idea, I have also seen some guys are using rubber sinkers clamped on (with a couple strands of rubber jig skirt), with rubber shrink tubing over it.

I use the unweighted beast hook, then I take the lead weights with the rubber in the middle, pull the rubber out, and crimp onto the hook shank. That has worked really well for me. I like the 1/8 oz and 1/4 oz. Seems to keel the bait perfectly but you still get that head wobble and big tail kick. Either way, you should pick some up. They are awesome baits, and Chad's customer service is top notch.

Just finished my first order with Chad. Great guy to deal with, fast shipping and the baits look great! Got a bass and striped gill pattern, but to my surprise he also threw in a golden shad and some of the 3 inch baits! I love when companies do that, great for business in my opinion. Now hopefully they work as good as they look.
