jackwald
I'm looking to get some as I'm new to swimbait fishing and the hard baits are basically impossible to get and this kid isn't dishin out 200+ on the bidding site. I'm from Illinois and I have a couple little lakes that have put out a 10.3 and an 8 something so size on the bait doesn't matter! Thanks! You can check the reviews in the member reviews section on the mission fish and the minnow. They are two of my favorite 3:16 soft baits. But the two that I have with me no matter what are the small top hook rising son in bluegill/sissy, and the soft bluegill in bluegill pattern. Hope this helps. jackwald
Not doubting you at all just a question. What's the difference between the osprey top hook and a rising son? Same type of bait right?

To be honest, I have never fished the osprey, only the rising son. It is my best producing soft 3:16 swimbait of all time. Chances are both baits will have they're differences. You won't know unless you try one.
wiswimbait
Was it recently that the lake in Ill-annoy put up a DD bass?

Top Ramen
Mission fish and rising sons are a must, QTF. Those are the two basic versions. They will cover most the water column and most of the situations where you would want to throw a soft bait. Add a Hudd, and you've pretty much got it covered. jackwald
I would add a hudd but the only one that comes in perch is the special 68 and I can't find it!,

Both rof 5 and 12 weedless, rof 5 top hook. Get em while they last.
flaswimbaiter
Mission fish and rising sons are a must, I agree, must have baits. I remember when you caught that one and posted it on tackle tour, that thing is abnormal.
jackwald
Thanks for the correction! And thanks that thread was blowing up! Surprisingly that only has my previous PB also from Illinois by a pound or so!
