One of my daily listens/drinking tunes is “princess of the night” How many costume changes did Halford do? One every song!?! Drew03cmc
I'm more into the older metal, Priest, Slayer, Megadeth, Sabbath, the greats. The new stuff is alright, love some Beartooth, Mastodon and some Motionless in White. Bay Arean
Willluvstafish
I'm a metal guy through and through and have been listening to heavy music since I was 13. Started listening to hardcore first (25 ta life, Merauder, One King Down, Turmoil) but when I first heard Slayer Raining Blood, it changed things. I've really come to enjoy 80s 90s metal the most, with a very broad range of metal sub genres. My some of my favorites would be King Diamond/Mercyful Fate, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse (,only with Chris Barnes vocals) Diecide, Dio, Metal Church. So many others. Ozzy solo stuff is all great, thrash makes me smile and I'll be damned if Priest isn't the best band I've seen live. Imagine how much better Metallica could be with Dave...Of the Big 4 thrash bands, I'd have to rank them Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax and finally Metallica.
