danthefisherman
Ouch. Best option would probably be to just fill it up with wood filler, sand smooth, and repaint. Mixing resin would work, but you'd have to match the original density/microballoon ratio pretty closely. David R
Did you try asking Mickey to fix it or what he would suggest?
TNBASSIN
Did you try asking Mickey to fix it or what he would suggest? Yah, he suggested trying swimbait underground. If a bait has been tampered with or altered, it's on you; as it should be.
Volfan
How does it swim now? Were you going for scales?

GoblinSlayer
Just kidding but really,,, man dont give up who knows try a different way of cutting maybe dremel it and flat black that bad boy when your done. Whats the worst that could happen? Who knows your next pb could come out of that besides aint like you gotta worry about smashing it on the rocks or hang it up on something anymore
Deltaman
Oh man.... That looks like fun. If I were going to do it, here's how I'd attempt it. Mix up some normal bondo, get your fine scale mesh, spread the bondo in the affected areas, lay your fine scale mesh, trying to match the original pattern and you might get something close to what it was before. Fine detail sanding here and there and it might turn out looking okay but that repair job is worth another bait just like it in hours spent alone. basskickinrednick and willsochill
willsochill
I highly second bondo, a good fine sanding and some Dremel tool love. Then get it painted and make sure it's cleared extra just to be safe.
