250 not draining out.

Hi, I have just purchased a deps 250 in B.B. Stocker Trout from a member on SU. I have fished the bait for probably only a couple hours and every time it performs perfectly. When I get home however, I hang the bait from the split ring and even after 2 weeks water is still sitting under the skin. I have heard this destroys the foil, could be wrong but let me hear what you gotta say. How should I drain water out, is it normal for it to stay in there?

Any feedback helps

thanks

Nick

i'm assuming this is an injected model....is the water under the skin? inside the abs? in the tail?

Yea, new model. Water is all over the bait, backwards and forwards of the joint.

If its just under the skin its not a huge issue, just get as much as you can out when you're done. But there shouldn't be water inside the bait on a new style. If there is, drain it and epoxy the hole and where its coming in.

You run into problems if you store the bait wet in a air tight spot like tupperware box or even the box it came in. The skin will fog up as it soaks the water in. If you're hanging it in the open, just shake it out a bit and you won't have any problems.

Ya I made sure to hang it just in open space
