GrantA
Not quite sure if this is the flipside is where I should ask this but do redfish eat big baits? Moved to a place recently with no bass and quite a few bull reds and was just wondering if anyone has success with big baits for redfish. mike h
Shure do! They eat my baits. Mullets and Bluegill wake baits. Just not much lately, been so hot they’ve been too sluggish in my area. Bout to change tho!! blackdynamite, SDBayBassMan, chevro1et and 3 others

mike h
We can keep one over 27” per person. 5 fish limit. If you get the limit on topwater, you had Shurely got several blow ups to get it. They miss a lot.

blackdynamite
Guys tossing spool teks account for a fair share of bull reds. If you're on a budget, storm wild eye shads can work. Also, they do fall for top waters, so punkers might be fun to try.

flaswimbaiter
They will but you would have better luck on a 4-6” bait. They really like punkers.

rocknemo
Redfish are on the bottom of the totem pole for intelligence, Had many crush a popping cork, so a swimbait is a no brainer.
