I copied the box design that many people on here use, cheap and easy and work good at keeping baits straight and undamaged. Picked up one of the plano kryptek wraps last year because they are very affordable and I like it a lot better than the box. The wrap stores a ton of baits if you double up which theres enough room for in each pouch, rolls up and stores better than the big box, and its all mesh so you baits can dry even if rolled up. The box design is better for soft baits (hudds, mags) any bait that you are worried about the tail getting screwed up.  I plan on buying more of the wraps in the future.

I use the sterilite containers on my boat and the husky document bags for when I shore fish or fish with someone else. They are way easier to store in a backpack than a containe. I found both these items at Home Depot.image.thumb.jpg.46a268ed65ddec3be44cdd2f40f5b073.jpg

What’s the inside of the document bag like? Just curious of how many baits it can hold and if the hooks will get caught in it? Thanks

... then I ordered a third sheet of 1 1/2" egg crate foam from foamfactory.com for $12 and some two face tape (each box was $12 each total). I put a piece in the bottom and fastened a piece to the lid this will hold a single layer of baits super secure, without worrying about them getting beat all to hell.

THanks MDBowhunter...I've been wondering where can i get those egg shell foams! I've just sent them an enquiry of cost. I have 3x Plano 3707 i want to what you did. cheers!

Anyone near East Bay, San Francisco wanna share some egg shell foams pls ping me!

A third sheet is roughly 24" x 72" and is enough to do 6 of the 705 boxes which are 14" x 14" roughly, and the cost was like $12 for a one third sheet. Here's a link, scroll down for the egg crate

Great stuff! thanks for point it out.  Looks like postage is another $12 so $24 for a third sheet. Let me take a look if amazon have cheaper delivery.
