chefchris Posted June 22, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2019 So when I went from the Spanish cedar to ayc while cutting the joints I goofed on the first one cause I didn’t double check my saw stops. So turned this one into a 3 piece, for my own bag/testing I drilled thru the center piece and both end connect with the center pin. Sometimes a goof doesn't always turn out to be a goof haha. I would be interested to see how that three piece handled as a non billed floater. Might be another idea for you to play with. Thanks, got an overnight trip in the works for this weekend (some very good intel handed down) and trying to get the 3 piece finished enough to fish. Tried to kept the wood grain showing thru and used my “web” spray paint method to add some extra texture, pics don’t really show it well.
