RyanPerrey
What’s good SU. Been a while. Here’s a video I made to help those struggling with Weedless/snagless Swimbaits. I hope someone takes something away from it! Edited March 1, 2020 by RyanPerrey Badfish562, ThatKidInNY, GreenPig and 10 others

jiggerjake
Thanks for the video. Some food for thought on your line choice. Is the WCZ in your vid actually the 7.5" Battle Shad ? Their site shows the Citizen are all 7". Depending which I'm going to keep my eye out for one.
jiggerjake
Taking a closer look it appears to be the 7" Citizen. The Battles Shad has a dorsal fin. I'm good-to-go ! RyanPerrey
MattGbaz
sick vid!! whats the point to throwing a beast hook weedless bait if your going to use a trailer bottom hook treble RyanPerrey
RyanPerrey
The times I throw a treble hook on the bottom, I’ll have 2 of the same bait rigged. One, no bottom hook for running through cover. The 2nd w/ the hook for open water, filling voids between spots. It’s a trick for picking up little fish or days when fish are not super active and are slapping at the bait. @MattGbaz Unclefish4life and MattGbaz
Archtx9
Ryan came back to Austin and we fished for an afternoon. The soft bait was definitely attracting fish. We caught a few but saw some giants on his bait. Couple trips later I missed this guy......Ryan convinced me to keep a soft bait on tied on. RyanPerrey
@Archtx9 That trip was a blast! I hope we get to do it again.
