Socalswimbait Posted April 30, 2020 Report Share Posted April 30, 2020 The grind finally paid off. First got my PB striper on my new bait I’ve been testing for a month or 2. First time out with it landed this 13 lb striper! She smashed it in deep water and was an awesome fight as he was pulling drag making 2 good runs! So much fun. The 2nd came on Monday. Fishing shallow around submerge brush with my shad bait. This girl came in hot 12 feet from boat but pulled up last second. Gave it 2 twitches and then pulled it away from her and she pounced! 6lb 14oz. Awesome the watch it unfold and know I made her commit with my actions based on the situation. After catching the greenie on Monday I had to make a few more baits on Tuesday. Hopefully this next week has some PB’s lined up. Cause I pulled some donkeys out yesterday and am going back tomorrow to get em!
