Qhaw Posted December 6, 2020 Report Share Posted December 6, 2020 Caught this in a tournament, I had a ton of bites on the Huddleston mid Collum but I couldn’t seem to hook up on any besides this one, I would guess 6.5-7.5, any thoughts on weight, or how to hook more Huddleston fish? Volfan Posted December 6, 2020 Report Share Posted December 6, 2020 Beautiful fish - with the spots around here, it seems like they have trouble getting the jig hook inside their mouths, it just seems to hang on the outside. CaliBassin Posted December 7, 2020 Report Share Posted December 7, 2020 Cut the jig hook off. Treble on top of head attached by a split ring from the line tie. Keep the other stinger right where you have it. If you don’t hook them that way buy another hudd with a belly ring and put a treble on the belly then your set.
