Put together the last 8'6" prototype, this is number 4. My wife and I both have one of the others and the first one had guides glued on and cut off a few times during testing and won't be rebuilt.

The blanks are extremely expensive for this rod, I am not sure if I will make these a full out production rod and keep them in stock like I am for the 8 footers, or do them as special order only.

The handle section of this was stripped down and redone a few times during testing, so don't mind that it's not the cleanest as far as the finish work.

I just finished gluing in the weights to balance the rod (its balanced for a curado 300) and the butt cap, the tape on the lower section is holding the butt cap in place while it dries.

The upper section will be hitting the water for the first time tomorrow, it has corrosion control KW guides from fuji with fazlite rings. Nothing special black wraps.

I rate these at up to 5oz, and they are a moderate/fast, but definitely not overly fast. This rod will be available for demo/test purposes, look for a thread about that soon.
