Went out to a new lake on the boat and caught about 15 in 2 hrs between my dad and I. Biggest being about 4. I could not have asked for a better first trip on my new boat I do wish I had caught the big one I hooked on the tk... but oh well I will next time.

Downsized to the Deps 175, I don't throw it alot but was only getting followers on the 250. After downsizing got a few to commit. This is the best one of the day. About 20-22" I need to buy a new scale

Just got my 8.5 strong shad. Matt threw in a hammer shad. Awesome baits. Took a while to recieve them , but wow, cant wait to fish em.

My buddy gave me a piece of 8' Poplar I think 4" wide. I have seen Marling lures use this wood. Now need to come up with a design.

Not hating at all, and not saying he doesnt know what he is doing. I am sure Brock is an awesome guy, and his work is unbelievable, and definitely something I look up to. But with all of that said, i feel like he could use a bit longer screw eyes. I personally use at least 1.5" and bend them, so they never pull out. And maybe I am just a little overkill, and this incident is one in a million. Is it just me?

Took the boat out for the first time in a month yesterday. Had a great day with this one as the kicker. Went 6.34lbs.

1) Biggest fish wins the tournament 2) Fish must be legitimately caught with a swimbait. Cast and retrieve only, no bed fishing. 3) Pictures must include: a) the swimbait used the fish on a digital scale ONLY c) A secret code will be released at 12:01 P.M. PST the first day of the tournament. The code needs to be visable in the picture. 4) Picture must be posted before the end of the tournament. 5) Fish anytime and anywhere between the tourney dates. 6) Once an angler wins a monthly tournament they are out till the Battle. 7) New weights by state. 8) These rules can change depending on future situations but NOT during the tournament. Failure to comply with the rules will disqualify your fish.
