I use super glue also. Works pretty well and dries quickly. I use a small fan so the vapors from the superglue don't irritate my eyes while applying. Kind of a no brainier but I took me 2 baits to figure out. Multiple coats of super glue and sanding is key to preventing moisture

I add a feathered treble, it definitely helps the hook ups

On the rare occasion when I use braid (jigs and frogs only, and never on swimbaits) I make sure to leave a tag end about an inch long and burn it with a lighter so it's creeps up the line and when it mushrooms I blow it out and let it cool. Now the tag end can't slip and pull through

I use wire clothes hangers and cut them to length. Haven't had an issue yet

Only cut the bait open if you plan on taking an rof5 and making it an zero by cutting the weight
